A Quick Note
I’m in Seattle visiting family, and some medical weirdness my baby nephew was experiencing last week before I arrived has turned into something a lot more worrying (and currently undiagnosed); he’s been in the hospital for a week.
“Medical coma” is not the sort of term you want to hear applied to anyone, much less a family member and much much less a baby, but that’s where we are right now.
Consequently, I’m mostly hustling around trying to help out here, periodically finding some time to shuffle around town with my girlfriend (who hasn’t been to the city before), but also highly internally distracted, as I’m sure you can imagine.
So no newsletter this week—sorry about that! I’ll also probably be later than usual responding to emails.
I’m trying to keep my other projects publishing apace, but there’s a chance something will slip there, too (apologies in advance if that happens!).
Please keep my nephew, my sister and brother-in-law, and my parents (who live together in a multi-generational home setup out here, and who are having a really difficult time right now) in your thoughts, prayers, and meditations.
A Quick Note
Difficult to know what to say. I hope he’s going to be okay and you all get to sigh a big sigh of relief.
Sending strength to you and your family, Colin.
