Howdy howdy!
I’ve just returned from an intentionally very brief trip to Las Vegas with my girlfriend; we mostly ambled around the Strip (and Strip-adjacent) areas, people-watching and food-eating.
It’s a delightfully weird place if you go in with the right attitude and/or good company (we didn’t drink or gamble, but still enjoyed ourselves)!
That said, this seems like a good moment (as I recalibrate to a different climate- and time-zone) to do another “Say Hello Day” (the last one was a spectacular success—I heard from so many wonderful people, which was a real treat for me).
So here’s the deal:
Please consider writing me a quick (or thorough) email telling me something about yourself: who you are, where you live in the world, what you do, what you’re thinking about these days, etc. You can even attach a snapshot (of yourself, your pet, your desk, what you can see out your window, a neat rock you saw, etc) if you’re so inclined.
Hearing from the human beings on the other end of this email is one of my favorite things about the work I do, and including the invite to write all the way at the bottom of each missive means some people will never see it.
So! If you’ve been waiting to write, this is a great day to do so. If this is the first time you’re seeing this invitation, it’s a great day to do so. If you’ve written before and just want to talk to someone about something you’re thinking about right now—also a good day for that.
You can also say howdy in the comments if you’d like to share something everyone on this list will have the ability to see (if they feel so inclined).
And if you’re keen to make something tangible and put a stamp on it, you can send me a physical letter/postcard/etc here:

Thanks as always for being a positive presence on the other end of these missives, and I hope you’re having a magnificent day, whatever you’re up to and wherever you find yourself :)

Say Hello Day
Hello from Columbus, OH. I also do not drink or gamble, but I'd like to visit Vegas. I currently work in digital marketing, but excited to transition to systems analyst soon. I'm thinking about the half marathon training I should be doing :)
