Sick Day
I’ve been sick since Sunday evening with some kind of stomach bug (norovirus?), probably from sushi (my girlfriend and I both became ill within hours of each other, and that’s the only thing that makes sense chronologically).
In addition to being incredibly painful and uncomfortable, it’s also just wiped me out; I had eight continuous hours of sleep last night for the first time since Sunday, and I’m still just barely awake.
The bulk of the sickness is now gone, thankfully (I can keep food down, though my appetite is struggling) and I’m working to get rid of lingering gut issues (almost certainly from my virus-pulverized, bruised and beaten stomach-lining).
I managed to get the majority of the week’s work for several projects done during a few hours of crazed ambition, yesterday, and I’m aiming to get OSN emails and podcast episodes out for Thursday and Friday, but I don’t have enough in the tank right now to make a coherent (or useful) newsletter—apologies! This is not fun.
I sincerely hope this is the last day of lingering effects, after which point I can live and do things again. Thanks very much for your patience in the meantime!
