I'm much the same. When I'm feeling stuck, or overwhelmed, I can usually point it to either feeling like I have too much to do, or too many options. For example, this year, instead of struggling to decide what to read next, I've put all the names of the books I own but haven't read (physical and e-book) on a slip of paper, and whenever I'm ready for a new read, I draw one out of the jar. This also helps me to tackle the problem of shelf space because as it'll help me clarify which books I actually want to enjoy again, and which I'm happy to donate for someone else to enjoy.

I struggle more with decluttering my calendar because I feel social, plan a bunch of things, and then when the time arrives, I don't feel so social. This is one of those areas where improvements are slower, but I'm growing more mindful about what I can commit to and where I need to pull back to give me space to think and create.

I'm a big fan of randomizing things like that when possible, great approach to book-pile whittling.
